Learn more about the Inconic Bullet Bra
We thought it would be interesting to take a look at the incredible and iconic Bullet Bra. Here showcase what it is about and of course present you with some beautiful Bullet Bra eye candy
We just love that ‘What Katie Did’ are so into producing such incredible 1950′s, retro and classic lingerie items such as the 1950′s iconic Bullet Bra.
The desire to have a highly defined bustline is back (or should that be front). What on earth are we talking about here? A super-smooth bustline may no longer be desirable as this upcoming reappearing trend gains momentum. And to prove this, a highly structured conical or cone cupped, pointy bra is on its way back into vogue. This glorious undergarment, perhaps better know as the Bullet Bra the cone cup or torpedo bra is the best way to create not only an uplifted, highly supported bust but also of course to create that classic 150’s Marylyn Monroe look she became so famous for.
This new trend for an accentuated, pointy bustline started to become mainstream back in the late 1940′s and into the early 1950’s and was set to become very popular indeed.
So, wearing this ‘Bullet’ style bra certainly puts your chest in the limelight. So, not for the faint hearted or shrinking violet me thinks. It shouts out literally ‘Hello Boys’ and just take at look at my frontage! Normally partnered with a few extra’s such as ‘the bottom wiggle’, seamed stocking (and suspenders of course) and the steamy hot little black dress.
The trending interest in the incredible Cone or Bullet Bra may have been started by the one and only female 1990’s singing sensation Madonna. Seeing her strutting around the stage in her highly exaggerated version certainly made a point (or two).
A figure hugging sweater, a button straining blouse with cleavage presenting deliciously; these were hallmarks of this amazing bra in action. This certainly made for a brighter day for many adoring male staff working in the offices of the day.
Of course such beauties as Diana Dors and Marilyn Monroe were strongly promoting the fashion of the 1950’s via cinema and television as well as magazines and they were soon able to underpin a trend just the same as fashions are promoted today by celebrities. It was no surprise then to see women take up the new and very fashionable Bullet Bra and accompanying dress styles to emulate the highly curvaceous figures of their idols.
Those women who want to adorn themselves with a pointy bustline can now do so by purchasing one of the new retro Bullet Bra’s from such delightful vendors as What Katie Did, a magnificent British designer and creator of luxury retro lingerie. Smaller busted women can even add special cone shaped inserts to assist in presenting the right amount of projection. So, even the most demure of bustlines can sport dare I say it, thrusting, cone shaped bra cups in all their pointy glory – we think they are absoluteley superb, especially the Harlow Bullet Bra!
